Bathroom Upgrade

Our clients had a small, poorly slapped-together bathroom in their basement.  They wanted an upgrade that would make good use of the space and really look good.  They wanted it to look professional. Oh, and the floors should be heated.

So we got to work demolishing their old bathroom and preparing for the upgrade.  The first thing we had to do was clean up the plumbing.  With that done we built a base and installed a new shower stall.  We retaped, mudded, and painted the walls and then leveled the floor.  Next, the underfloor heating went down so we could lay down the tile.

To make the most of the space we had chosen a corner shower stall and doors on sliders and not one that swings out.

We put in a new toilet, vanity, mirror, and light fixture before we were through. The clients love their new bathroom with heated floors!
